Cocoons is a project born with the idea of creating a temporary home that respects its environment and can be built almost anywhere in the world, since the cocoons only need a support point and three tensor ropes attached to the ground. This project is designed using 12 columns made of three 9cm diameter guadua bamboo culms. Two levels made of 13 bamboos, 7 in the vertical direction and 8 in the horizontal direction. The first level is where the bedrooms, the bathroom, with a terrace are located, and the second level can be used as a dining room and studio with a terrace net to lie outside. The membrane that covers the cocoon is made of an organic tissue called Xuxe, made from waste material that is waterproof. The idea of the cocoons is also to be connected by bridges built into the trees and stairs to access, depending on the location of the site, this will vary.
