Casa 0 is a project where different techniques were combined to benefit what each space required. Bamboo was used for the structure and the ceilings. The techniques used for the walls was superadobe, adobe, wattle and daub (using bamboo) and formwork straw. Casa 0 is covered with lime stucco made from natural pigments. This project is developed in Ojtli. Centro Sustentable, in Xalapa, Veracruz. It was born from the need to provide a space suitable for the client which had to use a wheelchair to transit from space to space, which was a helpful orientation in the creative process of design.
